Love left my heart,
I hated being alone and torn apart.
I cried each night and people didn’t know,
Then, I saw him.
Love was slowly creeping back in,
I’m afraid to let it in.
I’m afraid of getting left behind again.
I’ve been hurt so much.
I’m afraid to love again,
He’s my best friend .
I want to let him in.
But I’m afraid,
I’ll get left again.
